Boom Lifts
Boom lifts are aerial work platforms used by personnel to reach high places. They consist of a platform or bucket, with a long-jointed crane can be operated with hydraulic, pneumatics or mechanically via screws or rank-and-pinion system. They are commonly used for window cleaning, construction, forestry, mining, electrical and cable repair and painting. The two basic types of boom lifts are straight boom lifts and articulated boom lifts. Some of the boom lifts have the platform weight capacity of 1,000 pounds (45 kg) and under and can reach the height up to 100 feet.
